This week we continued looking at money. We learnt about notes and used base ten to represent how many tens and ones are in each.
We also had fun pretending to shop at a supermarket, thinking about which coins we’d need to use in order to pay.
We played an elimination game whereby we had to pick a coin and give our partners clues as to which one we’d chosen such as, “It’s not the smallest coin,” or, “It is greater than 20p”

We learnt about the last supper. We talked about how the symbols of bread and wine help us to understand the heart of the Eucharist sacrament. We then did a horse’s activity and pretended to be Judas, Jesus and Peter before re-enacting the last supper.
