A new week back at school!

After a super sunny half term, it was lovely to see the children back and on form. They have worked on a variety of new topics this week, including Cooking and Nutrition in D&T, focusing on renewable and non-renewable energy in Geography, and finishing their playscripts based on The Tempest in English.

We had a lovely final lesson where all the children became Shakespearean “players” and had the chance to perform the scripts written by their peers. There was excellent use of Shakespearean language, scene setting, and stage directions, along with some amazing acting. Personally, I loved watching you all perform.

Year 5 have continued their work on decimals, beginning to multiply and divide by 10, 100, and 1,000, while Year 6 continue to practise for the play.

Finally, I would like to wish everyone a happy weekend and a fantastic week ahead for the Year 6 residential and the Year 5 Activity Week.
