Week beginning 10th March
This week has been busy with lots of science related fun to celebrate STEM week. On Tuesday, we had a space dome in school which was a fantastic way to learn about the planets and the work of NASA. We have also had a science afternoon where we used our bottles to launch rocket mice! We planned and carried out a fair test to see which size bottle would make the mouse fly the furthest. We carried out each test 3 times and used our maths skills to calculate the average. We then wrote conclusions to explain what we had discovered using scientific vocabulary. We also evaluated our investigation to say how we could improve the accuracy of our results further.
