Lent 1

During our RE topic, we have looked at the accounts of the Christmas story and they symbolism of the characters. We have also looked at 'incarnation' and what it means.

Upper Juniors looked at the Prologue to St John's Gospel. We then had a discussion (which Father Liam helped with) about what 'incarnation' means and how 'Word was made flesh'. The children completed their own incarnation pictures with a focus on Jesus' arrival.

Incarnation

We finished our Christmas topic with a letter explaining how followers of Jesus should behave and how they should live their lives. We tried to include Scripture within our advice.
