School will only be physically closed if absolutely unavoidable: check the school website. Safety must always be the first priority. Be certain that you can get safely to school and get everyone back home again.

The quickest and most reliable way of finding out if we are closed is the school website. We do also send emails as soon as possible. However, experience from previous years highlighted the fragility of the mobile services when there are high volumes of texts and emails and also the necessity for you to keep email addresses and mobile numbers up to date. Please ensure your children come to school suitably dressed with waterproof boots, spare socks and a change of clothes when it is snowy. Please ensure every child has a waterproof, warm school coat with them each day.

The above will also apply if we are required to close the school once the day has started and the children are present.
