WB 13th January
This week we have continued to look at the circumstances surrounding Jesus' birth at Christmas and how it should impact us today. We looked at how Jesus' immediate flight to Egypt is similar to refugees plights across the world and also looked at how Jesus' birth affects our thoughts and actions today.
In history, we have been studying the Greek gods. We had to 'piece together' some Greek 'artefacts' before establishing how important the gods were in Ancient Greece.
In English, we have written formal persuasive letters from Mary Jackson convincing the county courts to allow her to study to become a NASA engineer.
We are now also becoming more proficient at completing algebra problems and forming equations.
