This week, our English learning was centred around the whole school shared text 'In Our Hands' by Lucy Farfort.  The children used viewfinders to encourage close observation of what illustrations revealed about the story.  The children also enjoyed the start of our new Science unit, Teeth and Digestion, using their sense of taste to observe what happens to bread when held in our mouth - the first stage of digestion.  In our first week of Creation, within RE the children learnt about the signs and symbols of baptism.  We enjoyed a PE lesson in the sun, learning about different forms of footwork.
