We started this week of with our school trip to Marwell Zoo, where we could get some more understanding of our Science topic. We completed a workshop and then had the chance to look around and find out about all the wonderful animals!

It was also 'Kindness Week', we were able to wear odd socks to celebrate our differences and spent the week finding ways to be kind to each other around the school.

In RE, we began learning about Advent (slightly early - to fit it all in) and looked at The Annunciation - which is the time in the Bible where Mary was told, by Angel Gabriel, that she would be blessed with God's child. We studied the bible in detail, but also looked at artwork which helped create a vision for the joyous moment. 

We finished reading the Iron Man, and this means that now we will be planning and writing our own version of the story - we will be trying to keep the same moral of good outweighs evil, which we understood from the story!
