Mental Health Week
This week in Infants we have had activities in line with mental health week and have been thinking hard about ways to keep our minds healthy.
We played a game where we showed our partners a feeling and they had to guess which feeling we were displaying. We then thought carefully about times when each feeling may present itself and came up with a class feelings chart.
We did some mindful yoga and breathed deeply to calm our minds.
Our brain can feel many emotions, sometimes all at once, so we thought about these and put them into a mind map.
We also learnt that people can help us manage our feelings and that we have important people in our lives that we can turn to. We drew different feelings onto strips of paper and connected them to show that we are never alone and always connected to someone that can help.
