Dear Parents and Carers,
The children have had a very positive and engaging first week back at school after the break.
In English the focus has been on completing the planning and writing a short story based around the current book they are studying.
Religious Education this week has focussed on the children reflecting on Holy Week and the Stations of the Cross.
In Art the children produced some excellent art work that looks at texture. The area of focus is the rain forest and the different colours and textures that can be found in the trees, plants and animals.
The children started studying a new text in their reading lessons this week. They were focussing on how to predict the storyline using evidence from illustrations and text.
