wb 23rd Mar
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you are all well.
The last week of the term was full of learning opportunities in and outside the classroom. The children worked extremely hard and produced some excellent work and they all made a positive contribution to the end of term activities.
In English the children focussed on looking at persuasive language and how this can be applied with various characters from the current text they are studying.
In DT the children finished their castle structures and rounded of the unit with developing their skills of peer assessment for different castle structures.
Outside of the classroom the children were given the opportunity to plant some seeds in the Eco garden.
The big event in the last week, was the Stations of the Cross. The event took place outside on the playground and the Lower Junior children were excellent in all apsects.
I hoper you all have a lovely Easter and I look forward to welcoming the children back to the classroom after the breal.
Best wishes,
Mr Mackintosh
