Another busy and exciting week for UJ2!
In English, the children have started writing their own version of the narrative based on The Unforgotten Coat by Frank Cottrell-Boyce. They have been working hard to uplevel their writing through pair assessment, editing stations, and thoughtful improvements to their vocabulary and sentence structure.
In Science, we learnt about how we see, exploring how our eyes work and how they help us to understand the world around us. The children enjoyed learning about the different parts of the eye and their functions.
On Friday, we celebrated Spanish Language Day. The children had great fun learning how to order an ice cream in Spanish and took part in a role-play activity where they acted as the seller and the customer.
