Mary's Liturgy 2026

On Wednesday 20th May, the whole school community were able to gather to celebrate Mary, the Mother of Christ.

We listened to Luke's Gospel detailing how Mary was chosen by God. We also learnt about the significance of the Hail Mary and why Mary is often depicted with flowers, a heart and a sword.

The children crowned our statue of Mary and EYFS and KS1 classes made Mary figurines and displayed their pictures.

It was a reflective and peaceful occasion which showed due reverence to Mary.
