Dear Parents and Carers,
The children have all engaged in lots fo engaging theoretical and practical learning activities this week across all areas in the curriculum. They have produced some excellent work and demonstrated excellent teamwork skills in the group activities.
In English the children have started reading a new book called the Cloud Tea Monkeys. The children started the unit with a practical unit. This involved tasing different tea and thinking about the flavour and aroma of each type of tea. The children also completed the last unit by writing a full story using writing and picture frames.
The focus in Reading was to look at evidence from text and try to make deductions on the future storyline.
The children have been completing experiments in Science, looking at the structure of plants and what they need to grow.
On Friday the children were involved in Spanish Day and they were involved in numerous activities using language skills to order food and then they all completed a Spanish art project.
