It’s been a busy final week of term in LJ2…
In English, we explored Fryndlswlde’s feelings, both inside and out, as a character.
We used features such as superlatives and rhetorical questions to write about how he might have encouraged Cora to stay and become Queen of Winter!
In RE, we took part in a re-enactment of the Stations of the Cross in preparation for Easter and celebrated Mass at St Joseph’s as a whole school community.
In DT, we finished making our castles out of recyclable materials—some very imaginative and inventive designs were created!
As part of Eco Week, we planted lettuce, sugar snap peas, cress, and sunflowers.
We look forward to seeing the fruits of our labour!
We also participated in Earth Hour, turning off all devices and electricity and taking time to appreciate our environment.
Wishing you all a happy and restful Easter break.
