This week has been packed full of learning, workshops and themed lessons and Upper Juniors have worked extremely hard. This week has been National Friendship and Kindness week and we have thought about how we can be good friends and kind to all. We have created some fabulous collaborative posters illustrating Friendship. In our English lessons, we have been working on our entries for the Rotary Writing Competition and the children have written some fantastic short stories on the topic 'Happiness in Nature.' In RE, we began our topic of Advent and thought about how we can incorporate preparation to our daily lives during this season by writing letters of advice to a friend. On Tuesday we came together as a school to mark Remembrance Day and we also took part in some workshops led by Prison, Me, No Way! We have also practised our blanket stitch in DT and map reading skills in Geography.
