Week beginning 28th April
This week we have begun writing our own gothic narratives in English inspired by our text 'The wind in the wall.' We have thought about how to create an eerie atmosphere through figurative language and will continue these next week, writing and editing a section of our story each day.
In maths, year 6 have completed a unit of work on position and direction, which included using co-ordinates in the four quadrants and translation and reflection of 2D shape. Our Science topic this term is circulation and health and we have thought about our top tips to keep our mind and body healthy.
In PE we continued to practise partner balances and in music we began a new topic exploring pitch and dynamics.
We have enjoyed the warmer weather and hope it last over the bank holiday weekend!
