Week 4: 27.1.26
RE
In class, we listened to the Parable of the Sower. In this story, Jesus tells of a farmer who scatters seeds. Some seeds fall on the path, some on rocky ground, some among thorns, and some on good soil. The seeds that fall on good soil grow strong and produce lots of grain.
Jesus uses this story to teach us about our hearts. When we listen carefully, are kind, and try our best to follow God’s word, we are like the good soil where seeds can grow.
History
We have been looking at toys from the past and those that we play with today. We are having great fun seeing what children used to play with but we are also noticing lots of differences between materials that were used, what they looked like, how they were played with and the facet that old toys don't seem to have any sounds or flashing lights!
