We were lucky enough to have a visit from Father Vuni who came in to teach us about the anointing of the sick. We learnt the seven symbols and how each of them are used and represented. We also prayed collectively for the sick Grandad of one of our classmates.
Little Tanks drama workshop
We took part in a drama workshop where we pretended to be toys on a mission to save a very special toy shop. We listened well to instructions and had great fun performing different scenarios.
History
We compared bears we have today with a bear from 1920s. We looked at how our bears have lots of colour on them and you’re able to buy clothes for them to wear whereas bears in the 1920s tended to be brown and very simple.
Music
In music we are looking at pitch. We worked together to play different patterns using high and low pitch notes. We discovered high notes are to the right of the glockenspiel and low notes are down to the right.
Computing
We learnt how to add images and texts to different scenery to make our own, ‘Where’s Wally?’ scene.
