We went outside and recorded birds in a tally chart as they flew over the playground. We then came inside and turned our findings into a pictogram, thinking carefully about how much each picture was worth. After this, we took a class survey of favourite ice cream flavours and did the same. Chocolate and vanilla were the most popular choices but no one voted for mint choc chip! What other surveys can you think of to conduct and turn into a pictogram?
