Science
We talked about the seasonal changes we see on trees throughout the year. We worked together to draw trees in winter, spring, summer and autumn, thinking carefully about the leaves we see and how we could represent these.
As if the weather knew our current Science topic, it threw us a random snow storm this morning! The snowflakes were huge and we spoke about whether or not it is only cold enough to snow in Winter? We decided the answer is no because it is still Autumn! We had great fun having a quick run around in it because it’s, ‘snow fun,’ just to watch it through the window!
Geography
We went outside to look at the features of our playground using an aerial view map. We used it to navigate around and find the features. Afterwards, we added two more features and thought about what symbols could represent them in the key.
