Maths

We practiced working out addition and subtraction sums using number lines. We rolled dice to find two numbers for the sums and then worked together to find the answer.

Christmas

We had a lovely time making special Christmas cards for our families. We enjoyed making baby Jesus in a manger and especially love that it can be taken off and put on the tree as a decoration!

Singing as we work!

We read the story of, ‘The Christmasaurus’. Thank you very much to Mrs Akehurst for buying it for our classroom. We then spent a lovely time creating our own Christmasaurus’ using bright oil pastels and chalks.

We tried hard to use fantastic adjectives to describe our beautiful Christmas jumpers. We have tried hard with our writing recently so it’s important we keep it up…what else could you describe over the Christmas period?
