We learnt about Epiphany, also known as King’s Day. We talked about gifts that the Kings bought and the gifts and experiences we had over the festive period. We made cards to show how thankful we are for our gifts, from God and from others.
Science
We looked at different materials and worked together to sort them according to different properties. Anything that did not fit our criteria went outside of our groups. There are so many materials around us!
Art
This term we are looking at 3D paper sculpting. We experimented with ways of rolling paper to make different sized tubes. We then stuck them down to make a tube sculpture.
Computing workshop
We were so excited to have a special computing workshop. We learnt how to make simple animations and provide voiceovers for them. We then showed our animations to our friends. We learnt skills such as editing, resizing, recoding sound and producing a final product.
