Computing
This term in computing, we are looking at internet research. We will be using websites to find out a range of information. This week, we looked at Queen Elizabeth II seeing as we looked at the monarchy last term. Miss Lilley read us some questions and we worked together to read and find the answers. What research could you do at home using the internet? Perhaps you could choose a topic and use the internet to find some facts which you could copy down into a book, leaflet or poster?
Music
In music, we are looking at rhythms and beats connected to myths and legends. We read the story of, 'St George and the Dragon,' and then had a go at clapping out the beat of the name, 'St George'. We then tried it double time and also put in two beats for each word with a rest in between.

Geography
Our topic in geography is, 'What's it like to live Shanghai?' This week we started looking at physical and human features of landscapes. We worked together to sort different features into the right groups. We also learnt that in Shanghai, people mostly use chopsticks to eat so, at the end of the day, we had a go at picking up pom poms with some chopsticks. It is really tricky!
