WB 8th September
R.E
We learnt about the school mission statement, 'Learning and loving on our journey with Jesus'. We watched a song online containing the mission statement then worked in groups to make up our own songs. Some of us chose to use popular songs that we already knew and changed the lyrics. We also had a go at adding some percussion.
English
As a school, we are looking at the book, 'The Midnight Panther,' by Poonam Mistry. In the story, the panther feels like he is not good enough and doesn't belong anywhere. He tries to change himself to look like the other cats by adding leaves from the jungle to his coat. We went outside to collect a variety of leaves and then enjoyed decorating panther outlines to look like the story character. The final results are wonderful!
Happy Birthday
We hope you had a wonderful day!
