Learning and loving on our journey with Jesus

WB 8th September

Over the first week and a bit, we have studied 'The Midnight Panther' by Poonam Mistry. We started by creating some descriptive poems about the panther using vivid imagery. We also planned and wrote letters of advice to the panther and created our own narratives.

In RE, we looked at the school mission statement and what it means to use and how we can live it out. We also discussed rules and how following God can sometimes bring great joy but also challenges.

In Maths we have revisited place value.

Our history topic about 'Were the Vikings raiders, traders or settlers?' started with placing key events on a timeline and understanding why the Vikings came to Britain.
