WB 8th December
What a fantastic week we’ve had in LJ2! In English, we’ve been busy writing letters and non-chronological reports, using the knowledge we gained from The Lion and the Unicorn and our research about World War 2 to make our writing really informative and engaging. In Maths, we’ve been exploring factors—keep practicing your times tables at home to help your learning!
History took us back to the Iron Age, where we discussed whether we would have survived with the resources available at the time. In RE, we reflected on our best work and proudly displayed it in our classroom.
In PE, teamwork was the key as we played team-building games, completing challenges together using a variety of equipment.
The week was made extra magical by watching the beautiful KS1 Nativity and meeting Thor and Glacier, two real-life reindeer—what a festive treat! We also had a valuable road safety workshop that taught us how to stay safe around busy roads.
It has been a jam-packed, fun-filled week, and we are ready to dive into the final week of term.
Thank you all for your continued support in making our learning so special!
Kind regards,
Mrs Evans
