We have had another fantastic week of learning in UJ2, and the children have worked incredibly hard across all our subjects!

In English, we wrote our own narratives, focusing on the writing technique show, don’t tell. The children explored how to use descriptive language, powerful verbs and figurative language to show characters’ emotions and bring their stories to life. They did a wonderful job of creating vivid images in the reader’s mind!

In RE, we explored how the choices we make can affect our relationship with God. The children reflected on the importance of making thoughtful decisions and discussed how our actions can influence our relationships with others and with God.

In Science, we learnt about the life cycle of insects and compared it with the life cycle of amphibians. The children explored the similarities and differences between the two life cycles and developed their understanding of how living things grow and change.

In Computing, we learnt how to create logos using Microsoft PowerPoint. The children experimented with different shapes, colours and design features to create their own logos. They also considered how colours and images can help communicate a message and make a logo recognisable.

A huge well done to everyone in UJ2 for their fantastic effort, enthusiasm and hard work this week. We are so proud of you all! Keep up the amazing work!
