WB 29th September
It’s been a busy and exciting week in LJ2!
The children have written some fantastic imaginative stories inspired by Leon and the Place Beyond, showing great creativity and detail in their writing.
In Maths, we’ve been working hard on rounding numbers to the nearest 10 and 100, and everyone is becoming much more confident with this skill.
Our Lower Juniors also led a beautiful Harvest Mass in the school hall – a wonderful celebration of gratitude and community.
In Geography, we explored volcanoes, learning where they can be found around the world and how they are formed.
In RE, we completed our Creation topic by writing thoughtful prayers to God about how we can live in His image and likeness – respecting and valuing the similarities and differences in others.
To round off the week, we celebrated National Poetry Day by writing our own diamante poems and enjoyed listening to some of the staff’s favourite poems too.
It’s been a great (and very busy!) week in LJ2 – well done, everyone!
