WB 29th September
This week in UJ2, we have been working very hard across all lessons and the children are showing great focus and enthusiasm for their learning.
On Thursday, we celebrated National Poetry Day. The children loved writing their own limerick poems and were absolutely fabulous performing "Mrs Butler’s poem" in front of the whole school., which the children performed brilliantly and with great enthusiasm.
In RE, we have been exploring the question “How do the People of God seek harmony?” The children enjoyed thoughtful discussions and produced some lovely writing about disharmony in the world and how we can work towards greater harmony.
In Reading, we are continuing with our class text Cosmic. The children are thoroughly enjoying the exciting events in the story while also developing their skills in answering a range of comprehension questions.
In Y6 Maths, we have been learning about squared and cubed numbers, as well as practising long multiplication. The children are building their confidence in using these methods step by step.
