Another Fantastic Week in UJ2!
UJ2 have had another fantastic and productive week of learning.
On Monday, we began writing our narrative based on The Lost Thing by Shaun Tan. By Friday, the children had written beautiful narratives, showing great imagination, creativity and thoughtful detail.
In Science, we have been learning about the seasons, day and night, and how the Earth orbits the Sun. The children experimented with models and had great fun exploring how seasons occur, demonstrating curiosity and excellent engagement throughout the lessons.
In RE, we have been learning about The Great Commission. The children explored important questions such as: Who gave Jesus authority? Why? and What does he want his followers to do? They showed a deep level of understanding and took part in thoughtful discussions and debates about how Jesus was given authority both on Earth and in Heaven.
As always, we ended the week with our swimming session, which remains a favourite and is a wonderful way to finish a very busy and fulfilling week.
Well done, UJ2 - we are so proud of you!
