WB 24th November
We’ve had a busy and exciting week in class!
In English, the children have been planning and writing their own imaginative stories inspired by The BFG and Roald Dahl’s wonderfully creative writing style.
In Maths, we continued our work on multiplication—please remember to keep practising those times tables at home!
In Science, the children explored the properties of different rocks, using scientific criteria to compare and classify them. Over in Computing, we carried on with our topic of digital art by designing a digital platform for a game inspired by the character Mario!
In Reading, we focused on sequencing the main events of a story and using evidence from the text to support our answers. The children also completed their Maths and Reading comprehension assessments—well done, everyone!
This week, we also celebrated a special Mass for Father Ephraim, who is sadly leaving our parish. We thank him for all he has done for our school community.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
