WB 19th January

We have continued to look at The Lost Thing in English this week and created persuasive adverts trying to convince someone to take in the creature!

The Upper Juniors were delighted to welcome published author, Philip Kavvadias, author of the Mission: Microrapter series of books. He spoke to the children all about his books and the planning process that goes into writing a book.

In Maths, we have worked out 2 unknowns in maths using bar modelling to help us. We have also started our new topic-working with decimals.

During our PE lessons, we have continued playing tag rugby and focused on the tactics to create space and offload the ball quickly.

In Art, we finished our monoprints.

We looked at the conversion of Saul to Paul and its significance for Christians and the church.

We have continued to look at the life of Henry VIII with this week's lesson focusing on using sources to understand the relationship between Henry and Anne Boleyn.
