Dear Parents and Carers,
This has been another engaging week of learning, with the children developing their skills and knowledge in many different subject areas.
In Religious Education the children have been looking at the Tree of Jesse. Developing their understanding of Jesus's genealogy.
In Reading the children are working from a book called Earth Shattering Events. The book looks at all types of natural disasters and this week the children looked at what a Tsunami is and how it would affect the sea and land.
In English the children are nearly at the end of the BFG text. This week the children all wrote a letter to the BFG outlining what they liked about the book and if they had any questions about the book.
In Design and Technology the focus was to understand design criteria and to start applying this to the design of a product.
The children really have worked hard this week and demonstrated our star values.
