WB 17th November
Lower Junior 2 have had a fantastic week of learning!
In English, we have thoroughly enjoyed continuing the story of The BFG. Roald Dahl’s creative writing techniques have inspired us to produce our own diary entries and letters, filled with imagination and wonderful detail. In Science, we explored the fascinating world of fossils—discovering what they are, how they form, and where they can be found. In RE, we learned all about the Jesse Tree and many of Jesus’ ancestors, including King David, who was chosen by God to lead His people. In History, we stepped into the shoes of archaeologists, using clues and artefacts to uncover the identity of a person from the Bronze Age. In PE, we explored expressive dance movements, focusing on circular actions and even practicing to elegant waltz music! In Computing, we put our digital art skills to the test by designing our very own cityscapes—and they looked amazing! And of course, the snowfall on Wednesday morning added extra excitement to our week, truly the icing on the cake!
Well done, LJ2! We are so proud of your hard work and enthusiasm.
