This week in English, we’ve become journalists! We investigated the mysterious theft of the Jar of Tears from our classroom — and discovered it was The Tear Thief! Our budding reporters produced brilliant newspaper articles showcasing all the fantastic writing skills we’ve developed this half term.

In Maths, we’ve been working hard to master exchanging using the column method. It’s been a tricky concept, but everyone has shown great determination and resilience when tackling some really challenging reasoning questions. Well done, LJ2 — I’m so proud of you!

In Science, we explored how food provides our bodies with energy and how that energy is used when we move and grow. In RE, we discussed ways we can break down ‘walls’ and build ‘bridges’ — both in our community and across the world — by following Jesus’ message of love and kindness.

In Computing, we’ve been practising our keyboard skills, and in PE we’ve been busy preparing for our upcoming gymnastics performance.

It’s been another fun-filled, action-packed week — only four days to go until half term! Fantastic effort as always, LJ2!
