This week we continued so great learning, and continued with our great topics this term.
We began the week with starting our new Science topic - States of Matter - where we will be looking at solids, liquids and gases. We are excited to see what experiments we may undertake throughout the topic.
In English, we continued learning about the Empire Windrush - we found out that all the passengers were offered a job to come to England after the devastation of the war. Many of the Caribbean people were shocked by the weather when they came to England! They also suffered from a lot of discrimination because of their skin colour and accent, which made it hard for them to find places to stay and work.
In R.E, we were continuing to learn about the Christmas story - most importantly about St. Francis of Assisi and learnt what he did to impact the Nativity Scene by creating the first one that is used by many of us at Christmas time.
We have also been working really hard to learn our Strictly Come Dancing themed dance for the festival, which is in February!
