Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you are all well.
The children have all worked very hard this week and produced some excellent work in all subject areas. In addition to the learning in the classroom, the children also had a second support session from the external coach in preparation for the Dance Festival.
In English the children were focussing on planning a story and creating a new version of the Winter's child. The children produced some excellent versions and some very good innovative storylines.
In Religious Education, the focus was to understand the significance of the different symbols used during the Christmas season and how messengers spread the good news.
The children were exploring how light works in Science and the different forms of light are generated.
During their reading lessons, the children were developing their reading skills by retrieving information and and summarising ideas.
