WB 5th May
We have continued to write our own narratives based on 'Wind in the Wall' this week. We are really looking at how we can vary our sentences and engage the reader (hence the codes at the sides of the pages).
In RE, we have looked at the significance of the Easter Vigil and all the symbolism it contains.
During our class worship, we have been able to use Mary's Grotto as a place of prayer and reflection.
In History, we have looked at the legacies of Ellen Wilkinson and Betty Bothroyd and studied historical sources to give inferences about their lives.
On Thursday 8th May we were able to celebrate VE Day as a school community. We brought in decorated biscuits and had a 'street party' as well as writing emotive letters about the VE day celebrations in 1945.
