End of Autumn 1 Term Message

Ah, the end of a very busy term! The children have worked so hard during the Autumn 1 term, completing a vast amount of work across all subjects, and they should be incredibly proud of everything they’ve achieved. I know they may have felt exhausted on some days, but they must celebrate their successes and take pride in how far they’ve come this term.

In our final week, we have completed all our Autumn 1 topics. We’ve explored the achievements of the Vikings, consolidated our understanding of mixtures and materials in science, and discussed how we can work with the Church to ensure harmony in the world and help improve God’s creation so that everyone can live happily together.

We also enjoyed a fast and furious game of mat rounders in the hall to finish our PE topic on striking and fielding! Lastly, the children have written some superb BBC 500-word stories. Please try to type these up over half term so that we can send in their entries to the BBC - who knows, they might even make it to the next round or win!
