This term, our topic in art is, 'Painting and Mixed Media: Life in Colour'.
We refreshed our memory of primary colours and how they mix to make secondary colours. We had a go at using different quantities of the primary colours to experiment with shades of the secondary colours. After this, we watered down our paint creations and used them to make magical water art where the colours mixed even further.
Science
This term we are learning about plant growth. We talked about what a seed needs to grow and started a comparative test. One of our seeds with have no water, one will have no light and one will have no warmth. We predicted what we think will happen to each seed and will monitor them to see if we are correct.
We also planted our own sweet pea seeds and we are going to give them everything they need to grow. We will measure these to check they are doing well over the next few weeks.
