To wrap up our book about The Great Fire of London, we made our very own Tudor houses. We thought carefully about decorating them with beams and straw to make them look authentic.

Mental Health Week
This week we had Mental Health Week. We did some deep breathing and meditation to find a quiet space and reflect. We also worked alongside this year’s theme of, ‘My Place,’ by drawing the things that are special in our lives and make us feel like we belong. Our spaces of acceptance are all different and we all have different experiences.
We wore clothes that expressed ourselves, our likes and our individuality personalities.
Internet Safety Week
We thought about how to stay safe online. We know that if something feels uncomfortable we should talk to an adult. We also know not to share our personal details online and to be cautious of talking to people we don’t know.
Music
We have been looking at pitch this term. We combined everything we’d learnt to create our own superhero theme tunes with low pitches for suspense and high pitches for when the superhero comes to save the day.
Maths
We have learnt about length and height this week. We not only compared objects from around the classroom but also compared ourselves to use the language, ‘Taller than,’ and, ‘Shorter than’.
