WB 5th January
A great start to the Spring 1 term!
On Monday, we had the THREE Discovery Workshop, and the children loved the experience of making their own news round and talking about the book we read last term, Cosmic.
In Maths, we have started Year 6 algebra. The children are learning new skills and are beginning to enjoy the challenge.
In English, we started a new book, The Lost Thing by Shaun Tan, and the children are very keen to discover more. They wrote a letter to advise the main character on what to do with the creature, using imperative verbs.
We have also started swimming, and I was very impressed by the children’s swimming skills.
