During the last week of the half term, the children enjoyed writing their narratives for the BBC 500 Words competition. They were very creative and enthusiastic about sharing their imaginative stories. In Maths, Year 6 began learning about fractions, focusing on adding and subtracting them with confidence. In History, as part of our Black History Month learning, we explored the inspiring story of Walter Tull and discovered how he became one of the first Black British professional footballers and army officers. The children loved creating fact sheets about him and discussing his remarkable achievements. Happy half term, everyone!
