In English, we started our new book The Tear Thief and have been exploring figurative language to inspire our own writing—creating wonderful similes and imaginative poems. In Science, we learnt all about the muscles in our bodies, discovering how voluntary and involuntary muscles work together with our bones and tendons to help us move and function.

In RE, we retold the story of The Good Samaritan and reflected on how we can show kindness and compassion in our own lives, inspired by Pope Francis’ letter Fratelli Tutti. In PE, we’ve been developing our ball skills and agility, as well as perfecting our gymnastic poses and travelling to create paired sequences.
