What a fantastic first week back after half term! The children returned ready to learn and worked incredibly hard across all subjects - a lovely comeback, UJ2, well done!
In English, we began our new unit by writing newspaper reports based on the events from The Three Little Pigs and the Wolf. The children showed great enthusiasm stepping into the role of reporters and thinking carefully about how to present events clearly for a reader.
In Science, we launched our new topic on the circulatory system. To start, we explored what makes a healthy lifestyle. The children became “doctors,” giving advice to patients about healthy choices - a fun and engaging way to develop their understanding.
In Maths, Year 6 started learning about area and perimeter, showing excellent focus and determination as they tackled new concepts.
