Learning and loving on our journey with Jesus

WB 16th March

Another fabulous week!

In English, the children wrote an informal persuasive letter to the editor of The Guardian, exploring different perspectives on whether the Three Little Pigs or the wolf might be innocent.

In maths, Year 6 began their statistics unit, learning about different types of charts and how to read and interpret data.

In science, we learned about the components of blood and how they link to the digestive system. The children especially enjoyed learning about the importance of the intestines in absorption and how blood carries nutrients and fights germs.

In DT, their bridges are starting to take shape, and they are showing great creativity and problem-solving skills.

This was also the last swimming session for UJ2. The children thoroughly enjoyed it and have all made great progress in their swimming skills.

Well done, UJ2—keep up the fantastic work!
