This week in English, the class has been studying Tar Beach. Pupils have created their own freedom posters and poems, while also developing their writing skills through the effective use of expanded noun phrases.
In Reading, pupils have enjoyed engaging discussions about Tamarind and her adventures in India, sharing their thoughts and ideas about the story.
In Mathematics, pupils have continued to practise their times tables while further developing their understanding of place value and number lines.
In Religious Education, our focus has been on Human Dignity and what it means to be a good neighbour. Pupils reflected thoughtfully on the importance of treating others with respect, kindness and compassion.
During Art, pupils had the opportunity to research prehistoric art before applying their observations and creativity to sketch their own animals.
Our Science lesson was particularly engaging as pupils explored human teeth and their different functions. They then consolidated their learning by creating their own models of teeth and carefully labelling them.
