Dear Parents and Carers,
Happy New Year!
I hope you are all well.
It has been an exciting and busy first week back after the break.
The phone company Three were in school this week delivering sessions on animation using lego. The children worked in groups to design their own lego animation. They all produced some excellent pieces of animation.
In Religious Education, the children were focussing on the Christmas story and the importance of the Angels in the story.
The children started the Winter's Child book this week and they were prepositional phrases and apostrophes in a descriptive poem.
In Reading the children have started a new book called The Necklace of Raindrops and they have been focussing on the characters and their traits in the opening chapters.
The focus in History this term is the Roman Civilisation and the buildings that still remain and what they can tell us about Roman life.
The children have worked very hard this week and produced some excellent work.
