This week, LJ2 have had a fantastic time across the curriculum...
In English, the children used their creativity to write winter poems, incorporating similes, expanded noun phrases and personification. They also took part in a conscience alley activity, debating whether Cora should follow Fryndlewylde or return home to her grandmother.
In Science, the children explored magnets, learning how to identify magnetic materials and writing up their own methods.
In RE, we learned about the Stations of the Cross and their importance to Christians in preparation for Easter. We look forward to performing these next Wednesday afternoon for parents who are able to attend.
In History, we examined Anglo-Saxon artefacts from the Sutton Hoo burial site and made deductions about their use and ownership.
In DT, the children continued building their castles and are excited to finish them next week.
Well done LJ2!
